Unified Digital Commerce

Overview

This commerce platform supports paid exams, serial-code activation, education products, and direct marketplace transactions from one backend flow.

The challenge

Different products and payment providers introduced varied checkout, activation, and transaction-status requirements. The system needed a consistent purchasing experience without ignoring provider-specific behavior.

My contribution

• Integrated Midtrans, Xendit, and Doku payment services.
• Built transaction and product-access APIs.
• Implemented webhook handling for payment status changes.
• Supported serial-code and direct-purchase activation flows.

Technical approach

Payment-provider adapters translate external events into a shared transaction model. Redis protects short-lived checkout state, while MySQL stores product, purchase, and activation records.

Outcome

The unified flow broadened payment options and allowed several education products to share more reliable commerce capabilities.
