Educational Event Platform

Overview

The event platform coordinates online learning sessions, schedules, registrations, and participant communication for education communities.

The challenge

Event information, registration state, session access, and participant communication needed to remain synchronized before and during each learning event.

My contribution

• Developed scheduling and registration APIs.
• Connected event participation with existing product accounts.
• Supported real-time session state where required.
• Integrated participant communication workflows through Qontak.

Technical approach

Event lifecycle state is stored centrally so registration, reminders, and access decisions use the same source of truth. PostgreSQL stores durable scheduling data and WebSocket connections support live updates.

Outcome

The platform helped extend educational outreach while keeping events connected to the broader learning ecosystem.
