Overview
This internal dashboard brings product activity, sales information, and operational monitoring into one working surface for internal teams.
The challenge
Important business information was distributed across product-specific systems, making routine monitoring and decision-making slower than necessary.
My contribution
- Built APIs that aggregate operational data from several product areas.
- Prepared reporting responses for dashboards and monitoring views.
- Supported consistent access to sales and activity information.
- Improved maintainability with typed service contracts and containerized environments.
Technical approach
The API layer presents consistent reporting contracts even when source data comes from different product domains. PostgreSQL handles structured operational data and Docker keeps development and deployment environments aligned.
Outcome
Internal teams gained a more centralized view of business activity, improving daily efficiency and speeding up operational decisions.
